RE-POST: Zebra Kid: Stiff as F**k - DVD Review
It was in April 2001 that I first took notice of Roy Bevis, the Zebra Kid. Since then I’ve followed his career with great interest, both at close range and long distance, and his career hit the heights and then the lows following two prison sentences. Which is why I was eager to see the latest in the World Association of Wrestling Shoot Interview series – Zebra Kid: Stiff as F**k.

Breaking Kayfabe with Jerome Young - DVD Review
If I were to mention the name New Jack to you you’d probably think of the ultra-violent former ECW star who beat the hell out of an old man and stabbed a fat kid in the head with a scalpel. If I mentioned shoot interviews you’d probably say something along the lines of “he’s a good talker, but do we really need another shoot from him?”

YouShoot with Tony Atlas - DVD Review
For the younger generation of professional wrestling fans he’s nothing more than the big guy who laughed at Abraham Washington’s jokes during the dying days of ECW, but to the rest of us he’s more than that, and now Mr. USA himself, Tony Atlas, is the latest subject of Kayfabe Commentaries’ YouShoot series.

YouShoot with Perry Saturn - DVD Review
For years now there’s been rumours about Perry Saturn, rumours about his death, rumours that he was in hiding to avoid paying child support, and rumours that he’d simply fallen off the face of the Earth. But now he’s back and telling his story to Sean Oliver in the latest of Kayfabe Commentaries’ YouShoot series.

YouShoot: HTM2 - DVD Review
With his long sideburns and his hair slicked back the Honkytonk Man was one of the biggest and most recognisable stars of the WWF in the 80’s. The greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time has also become known for his shoot interviews in recent years, which is why, after four years, it came as no real surprise that he returned to the Kayfabe Commentaries studio (or rather hotel room) for the latest in their YouShoot series.

YouShoot With The Iron Sheik - DVD Review
He was one of the men who helped launch Hulkamania, but was offered $100,000 by three rival promoters to stop it from happening. Now he’s the subject of the latest offering from Kayfabe Commentaries, YouShoot With The Iron Sheik.

YouShoot With Jim Cornette The Lost Questions - DVD Review
When Kayfabe Commentaries released their two disc YouShoot with Jim Cornette a while ago one thing really surprised me. Having seen numerous interview with the man in the past, I was surprised that the interview only lasted four hours!

YouShoot with Maria Kanellis - DVD Review
I’ve never really enjoyed shoot interviews from people who have been in the wrestling business for the proverbial five minutes, so when I saw that the latest in the Kayfabe Commentaries “YouShoot” series featured former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis I have to admit that I had as to whether this would be as entertaining as other releases in the series.

You Shoot: Jim Cornette - DVD Review
I’ve said this hundreds of times before, but I’m a sucker for old wrestling stories. So you can imagine how I felt when Kayfabe Commentaries’ latest You Shoot DVD featuring Jim Cornette was pushed through my letterbox.

New Jack: YouShoot - DVD Review
A few years ago I had the privilege to review one of the best wrestling documentaries of the past ten years, Michael Moody’s 101 Reasons Not To Be A Pro Wrestler. Many have described it as the best thing since Beyond the Mat, and rightfully so. But the highlight for many the segments featuring former ECW star New Jack. In fact, they were so well received that Moody later made a documentary dedicated to the man himself, New Jack: Hardcore.Tuesday, December 23, 2008
IPW:UK Shoot Interview Series - Martin Stone - DVD Review
Here in Britain, as the once mighty Frontier Wrestling Alliance was dying a slow and painful death, there was one piece of talent coming through that caught my eye. Having been in and around the company for a couple of years, it was a while before he actually got his big break. The guy has that “it” factor about him, and when I first saw him, I knew there and then that he would become one of British wrestling’s top stars. That man was Martin Stone.Saturday, February 02, 2008
Ultimate Warrior Shoot Interview - DVD Review
To some he is one of the greatest superstars in the history of professional wrestling. To others he is a politically incorrect bigot whose views about the world should remain locked away in an isolated cupboard, never to be seen. But no matter who you talk to, he’s the Ultimate Warrior, and in 2005 he released his first ever shoot interview DVD, in conjunction with Ringside Collectables.Monday, September 17, 2007
