YouShoot With Sean Waltman - DVD Review

He’s one of those Marmite kind of wrestlers. You either love him or you hate him, and now he’s the latest to face Sean Oliver’s questions in YouShoot With Sean Waltman.

No matter what you think of Waltman he’s certainly had a varied life and career, and he’s certainly wasn’t afraid to duck any of the questions that the fans posed to him.

Whether it’s about his time as a member of wrestling’s most powerful clique, his relationship with a certain female with interesting anatomical parts, or the deposits he’s made in other people’s luggage, it’s all here. No stone is left unturned.

Unlike other YouShoot releases this one feels like we’re being let in on a personal therapy session. Waltman talks about everything, his drug and alcohol problems, his time in rehab, his suicide attempt in Mexico and much more.

It isn’t all doom and gloom though. As is the custom with these interviews there’s the usual appearances from the Ho and Dick Bags. Waltman also attempts to break Sabu’s joint-rolling record.

As an interview subject Waltman comes across extremely well. He may not be in the Jim Cornette/Raven league but he’s certainly a very good storyteller.

In conclusion - time to wheel out that old line again. It’s another great release from Kayfabe Commentaries. I have to admit that I didn’t think this would be up to much, but I was wrong.

If you’ve got two and a half hours to spare and you want to hear some great stories then I heartily recommend this release.

With thanks to the powers that be for supplying a copy of this release. YouShoot With Sean Waltman is available to buy online at www.kayfabecommentaries.com.
