As they sat down, Sinclair turned to Adam. "So, what do you think?" he asked. "What do you want to do about Frankenstein?"
Adam's expression was thoughtful. "I don't know, Commander," he said. "Part of me wants to forgive him, to understand why he did what he did. But another part of me is angry, hurt. I don't know if I can ever truly forgive him."
Sinclair nodded. "I understand," he said. "It's a difficult decision. But ultimately, it's yours to make."
Adam's eyes locked onto Sinclair's. "What would you do, Commander?" he asked.
Sinclair hesitated. "I don't know," he said. "As a commander, I have to think about the safety of the station and its inhabitants. But as a friend, I want to see you happy and fulfilled."
Adam's expression softened. "Thank you, Commander," he said. "That means a lot coming from you."
Sinclair smiled. "You're welcome, Adam," he said. "Now, let's think about your future. What do you want to do? Do you want to stay on the station, or do you want to explore the galaxy?"
Adam's eyes lit up. "I want to explore," he said. "I want to see what's out there, to learn and discover. I want to find my place in the universe."
Sinclair nodded. "Okay," he said. "We can arrange for you to join a exploration team. But first, we need to figure out what to do with Frankenstein."
Adam's expression turned determined. "I'll make a decision," he said. "I'll decide what to do about Frankenstein. And I'll make sure it's the right one."
Sinclair smiled, proud of Adam's growth and determination. "I trust your judgment, Adam," he said. "Whatever you decide, I'll support you."
As they sat there, Sinclair knew that Adam's decision would have far-reaching consequences. But he also knew that Adam was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
