UFC The Ultimate Finale 11 on ESPN - TV Review

After weeks of high tension and drama (so I heard, I actually didn’t see much of the show) it was down to the final two as Kris McCray and Court McGee fought it out in the UFC’s eleventh Ultimate Finale, shown live in the early hours of this past Sunday morning on ESPN here in Britain, with Mike Goldberg and Kenny Florian handling commentary duties.

It’s time to step into Hogan territory again as Total Non-Stop Action celebrated their eight birthday with Slammiversary, shown this past Friday night in Extreme Sports here in Britain, with Mike Tenay and Taz handling commentary duties.

UFC 38 Brawl at the Royal Albert Hall - DVD Review

The final part of the series to mark the tenth anniversary of The Two Sheds Review sees us taking another look at the first ever MMA show I saw, when the Ultimate Fighting Championship made their first visit to Great Britain in July 2002 for UFC 38: Brawl at the Royal Albert Hall, headlined by Matt Hughes defending the Welterweight title against Carlos Newton, with Mike Goldberg and Jeff Osborne handling commentary duties.

WWF Summerslam 2000 - Retro Review

Part three of the series to commemorate the tenth anniversary of The Two Sheds Review sees us taking another look at the first wrestling pay-per-view I ever reviewed, going back to the World Wrestling Federation of August 2000, when the company was in the midst of the McMahon-Helmsley era, and Kurt Angle and Triple H challenged the Rock for the WWF title in the main event of Summerslam, with Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler handling commentary duties.

MLW Reload - DVD Review

In the second of a series of reviews to commemorate the tenth anniversary of The Two Sheds Review, I’m not going to take a look back at the first ever Supercard Sunday show I saw on The Wrestling Channel in Britain, Major League Wrestling’s Reload, held at the Manhattan Centre in New York in September 2002. I briefly mentioned this in my old Two Sheds On TV column for Wrestling X back in 2004, but I’ve never reviewed this show in full - until now.
