A day later and the lone woman motor cycle rider was in Germany. She rode along at speeds of sixty miles an hour-plus until she came to a road sing. She stopped and read it. In German it said ‘Berlin, two miles’. Seeing this she took off her helmet and looked upwards towards the sky. It appeared that she was on time because in the sky she saw a read a yellow streak, the sign that Fire-Flash was coming. The German soon landed near her. He then flamed-off.

The Dawning of the New Age - Chapter Five
As the rest of the super-heroes departed for Belgium Doctor Magus, Doctor Fate, Connor and Duncan McCloud remained behind to see for themselves the damage caused by Fire-Flash’s attack hours earlier. Luckily no one had been injured in the attack, except for one woman. The sight of the destruction distressed Duncan McCloud somewhat because of his fondness for Paris. As the McClouds began to clear away some of the rubble Magus and Fate began talking to each other.
The Dawning of the New Age - Chapter Four
August 23rd, 1944. Today was a happy day for the people of Paris, because it was on this day they finally freed their city, having driven the Nazi regime out without any help from the allies. However, news of this triumph travelled fast, so fast that the allies decided to send a group of their super-powered operatives to help protect the city. The group numbered five, and included Captain America, the Sub-Mariner and the Human Torch from the Invaders, and Green Lantern and Hawkman from the Justice Society. This group decided to travel to France using the Sub-Mariner’s aircraft, a machine considered ahead of it’s time. It was while they were airborne that they picked up something on the radar. Namor was confused, and somewhat amazed at what he saw.
The Dawning of the New Age - Chapter Three
The deck of the Valkyrie was a hive of activity as crewmen assumed their battle stations. They did not know what to expect as the streak of yellow and red flew high above them, suddenly swooping down low and passing them several times. Then, after a fifth pass, it attacked, hurling fire and fireballs at the deck and the guns, the attacks melting the metal on impact. It then swooped high up into the sky and was about to attack again when it found itself encased in a green sphere, courtesy of the Green Lantern. Now unable to move at it’s tremendous speed it showed itself for what it truly is - a man.
The Dawning of the New Age - Chapter Two
March 8th. An R.A.F. Mosquito aircraft flies over the Atlantic Ocean, en-route to a drop-off point. Apart from the usual crew this aircraft also carried four important passengers, Dr. Magus, Connor McCloud, Captain America and the Human Torch. Of these four passengers Magus was the most irritable.
“I would have preferred to levitate to the ship.” said Magus. “This mode of transport can be very slow.”
“I disagree Doctor.” said Captain America. “I think the crew of the Valkyrie would be shocked if we just appeared on their deck.”
“Tell me Captain.” said McCloud. “Who are these associates of yours we’ll be meeting on the Valkyrie?”
“Two members of our sister group.” replied Captain America. “You may have met them before.”
Then a call came through from the cockpit.
“We’re reaching the drop-off point gentlemen.”
Upon hearing this McCloud and Captain America strapped on their parachutes. Magus began to shake his head.
“You could at least let me levitate you to the deck of this ship!”
“Will you let me have some fun Phineas?” smiled McCloud. “I haven’t had a parachute jump in years!”

The Dawning of the New Age - Chapter One
The date was January 16th, 1943. The Casablanca Conference between Roosevelt and Churchill started two days ago, and on the streets of Berlin the sound of tank and jeep engines echoed throughout. A Nazi military convoy was heading for a point two miles east of Berlin where an old abandoned building was situated. They were going to this building on the express orders of Hitler himself, and they were being commanded by none other than the Ultra-Humanite herself, who sat in the front passenger seat of the lead jeep.
It did not take long for the convoy to reach the old house, mainly because the traffic moved out of the way as soon as they saw the tank approach. The Ultra-Humanite was not far behind them. A lowly lieutenant approached her.
“This is the house.” he said. “But it looks as if no one is here.”
“Appearances can be deceptive.” said the Humanite. “You will go on and find the one we are looking for.”
