James Watt: Running Man - Chapter Four

Watt entered an old abandoned building. When he entered the first thing he saw was an old locker room. He looked around and saw the skeletons of previous contestants. He continued further into the building.

James Watt: Running Man - Chapter Three

The craft carrying Watt continued to hurtle down the tunnel at high speed. After about another minute he saw daylight. The craft suddenly stopped when it hit a net. Watt as now in the area that had been devastated by a massive earthquake in 1997. As soon as the craft had stopped a group of five scruffily-dressed men rushed over to him and released Watt. They helped him out of the craft and directed him to the first quadrant of the zone.

James Watt: Running Man - Chapter Two

Killian was on the next plane back to Los Angeles. The day after he arrived back in the US he went back to his office. He knew he had to devise another way of boosting his ratings, but the ideas were starting to dry up. He  considered all of this on the drive to his office. He arrived, and then entered the building. The first thing he noticed was that his secretary had not yet arrived, and his letters had not been opened and placed on his desk. This did not help his mood one bit. So he marched over to his office door and opened it. He was surprised to find someone sitting in his large leather chair. He could not see who it was at first because his back was turned to him.

James Watt: Running Man - Chapter One

Damon Killian sat in his office in Hollywood. He was not a happy man. Six months ago he devised a new form of game show called "The Running Man". The format was simple. Convicted criminals would have to 'run' through this underground cavern while being hunted down by 'stalkers'. If they managed to escape from this cavern they would be given a pardon. If they were captured they would be killed in combat. The thing that was making Killian unhappy, however, was that The Running Man was in danger of being cancelled. The ratings for the first season were very poor, and with the start of the next television season only two months away Killian was desperate to find a way of saving his show.

Anglo-Force: Stargazer Chapter 2

The Stargazer and his group had returned to their dwelling, some three miles away from the village. Magus and Thomas meanwhile had returned to the village. They sought the dwelling of the village elder, Urko. They had some difficulty finding it, but they eventually did. When they arrived they were surprised to find that Urko knew Magus.

Anglo-Force: Stargazer Chapter 1

Magus sat in his study at Craigmillar Castle. Before him, on the huge mahogany desk, rested a volume of long forgotten lore. A log fire blazed in the grate, before which reclined Teddy and Toby, sleeping as peacefully as only dogs of three and two hundred years old respectively could. Curled up in one of the chairs lay Jimmy and Tabby, as sound asleep as the dogs on the hearthrug. Igor, Magus’ Monstron butler, moved around the room silently, dusting. At length, Magus closed the book and went to look out of the window.

The Empire Saga Chapter Fourteen

It was a wild and stormy night in Wiltshire. Stonehenge stood, as it had done for centuries without number, stark and empty. Around the edge of the stone circle stood Anglo-Force, watching intently. Within stood the Council of the Five, the Istari. Within the circle these five made stood Vader and his man, and Grand Moff Tarkin, bound and gagged. Each of the five wizards communicated mind to mind. Vader could sense something was happened but he did not know what.

The Empire Saga Chapter Thirteen

Paul Solo sat in one of the chairs of Tarkin's shuttle craft, strapped down. Then, from one of the other compartments, Tarkin entered. He stared at Solo. A few seconds later Vader entered.

The Empire Saga Chapter Twelve

The Star Destroyer began to shake violently once again. Below in the streets of London panic began to reign. They were scared by the sight of a mighty space vessel in the sky above them. On the bridge of the Star Destroyer there were some signs of panic there too.

The Empire Saga Chapter Eleven

The Star Destroyer was now a million kilometres away from the wormhole. When they reached that point in space Tarkin ordered the vessel to a halt.

The Empire Saga Chapter Ten

The Phantom Cruiser hurled through space past Saturn. At the controls sat Space Ghost. Watt sat next to him, and behind them Magus and the Doctor.
“You still haven’t told me our course, Magus.” said Space Ghost.
“Just keep steering ahead.” said Magus. “We will soon reach our destination.”
    The Doctor turned to Magus.
“Wouldn’t it have been much easier for us to use the TARDIS?” he asked.
“I think not, Doctor.” said Magus. “Something tells me we will be needing the Phantom Cruiser.”

The Empire Saga Chapter Nine

The Star Destroyer hurtled through the Bajoran system, trying to get away from the Federation’s ships. They knew now that the only way they would be able to get back to their own territory would be to travel through the Sontarran system. They also knew that they would most likely run into some more Federation ships.

The Empire Saga Chapter Eight

Darth Vader arrived back on the bridge of the Star Destroyer. Grand Moff Tarkin was already there. He had returned there when the battle had first started. Vader stormed over to him.
“We must withdraw.” said Vader. “Our forces on the station have been defeated.”

The Empire Saga Chapter Seven

Grand Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader stood in Operations on DS9. Tarkin stood looking at the main control panel.
“I see all is almost complete.” said Tarkin. “Is the Tie fighter ready?”
“The pilot awaits your word.” said Vader.
“Then give the word.” said Tarkin.

The Empire Saga Chapter Six

Major Kira called a meeting aboard the Valkyrie. They assembled in the conference room. Picard, Riker, Data and Worf represented the Enterprise. Captain Watt, Tamar Amarus, Sutek and Pendragon represented the Valkyrie. Magus and Ambassador Watt attended as the political representatives of the Federation.

The Empire Saga Chapter Five

Since the Galactic Empire took control of Deep Space Nine the interim government on Bajor had been very quiet, mainly because they feared an attack on the planet itself from the Empire. But when no attack was forthcoming they decided to act. From the surface five small Bajoran vessels were launched. Each had very minimal armaments. What they hoped to achieve only they knew.

The Empire Saga Chapter Four

The Valkyrie was in orbit around Mentarka Three, delivering supplies to the monitoring station there. After their work was finished the away team returned to the ship, and Magus stayed on the planet’s surface to visit “old friends”.

The Empire Saga Chapter Three

Magus stood in his quarters on the Valkyrie. Teddy and Toby slumbered peacefully before the blazing log fire. Tabby and Jimmy were sleeping in one of the armchairs. There came a ring at the door. Magus answered. A young Ensign stood there waiting rather timidly. Magus gazed at the youth over the top of his spectacles. It was a habit he had found useful over the year, for although most humans took little notice of it for some reason it made both the Cardassians and the Mentarkans very nervous. The story was circulating that this was the very gesture Magus had made before he turned Kempec of the Klingon High Council into a slug. Magus’ reply to this allegation was that the transformation was merely an extension of what Kempec had become.

The Empire Saga Chapter Two

Sisko sat at his desk in his office. The communication he had been waiting for had finally arrived. On the screen in front of him was Captain James Watt, commanding officer of the U.S.S. Valkyrie

The Empire Saga Chapter One

It was a normal routine day on station Deep Space Nine, in orbit around the planet Bajor. In Operations the commanding officer of the station, Commander Benjamin Sisko, surveyed the happenings. At the science station sat Lieutenant Dax, the female Trill, and at the engineering station sat Chief Miles O’Brien. At the main control station stood Major Kira, the Bajoran national and first officer of the station. It was then that the so-called normal routine day would change.
