The Thursday Rock Show: The Wrestling Diaries

It's time for The Thursday Rock Show once again, and we're doing things a little differently this week, because this week's show is all about shameless self promotion as we listen to my AI-generated concept album, The Wrestling Diaries.

Based on my Two Sheds Review blog "WAW Diary" from 2001, this album tells the tale of how I became interested in my local wrestling promotion, the World Association of Wrestling, owned and operated by "Rowdy" Ricky Knight and his wife, Sweet Saraya, the parents of current WWE superstar Paige. The songs here document my experiences around the company at that time.

I was inspired to make this album when I heard the news that their film, Fighting With My Family, was being turned into a musical. I knew I couldn't write a musical, but I knew that with my somewhat brief experience of working with AI-generated music I could make a concept album.

The album has recently been released on CD and on streaming platforms, and this week's show also includes three bonus tracks which didn't make the original cut, tracks that will also be released on CD and streaming platforms soon.
