Here We Go Again

Yesterday morning I had one of those here we go again moments.

I've been feeling out of sorts since February. It was the usual kind of thing, a bad cough when I laid down, feeling tired all the time. You know the drill by now. Thankfully the symptoms were nowhere near as bad as they were three years ago.

So I did what any logical person would do and checked my symptoms on the NHS website, matching them with my other ongoing health problems, although in truth I kind of already knew what was wrong.

An appointment with my GP confirmed what I'd known for a few weeks. I've gone into atrial fibrillation again, which basically means the dicky ticker is acting up again.

So now I've got an appointment with the legalized vampire and the machine that goes bleep in June 2nd, the results of which will be sent to the heart department at the big hospital.

Hence the here we go again feeling.
