So, what "So I Said to This Bloke: Reimagined and Expanded"?
Do you remember my first attempt at producing AI-generated music using the Mozart app? The original "So I Said to This Bloke album? Well, it was a bit rough around the edges, because it was my first attempt to us an AI music app to produce music. So once I got the hang of using the app I decided to give these songs another go. I added a few more I'd been working on, and together they became the reimagined version of So I Said to This Bloke.

Well, it was a bit rough around the edges, because it was my first attempt to us an AI music app to produce music. So once I got the hang of using the app I decided to give these songs another go. I added a few more I'd been working on, and together they became the reimagined version of So I Said to This Bloke.
The first three songs, "Lydia the Tattooed Lady", "Hooray for Captain Spaulding" and "I'm Against It" were originally performed by Groucho Marx. The fourth song, "They're Coming to Take me Away" was a novelty hit back in the sixties, released under the name Napolean XV.
Songs five to seven were slightly more original efforts. "At War With Germany" takes Neville Chamberlain's declaration of war against Hitler's Germany more seriously than the original version, while "So I Said to This Bloke" (a collection of Tim Vine jokes) and The Ballad of Boris Johnson are more lighthearted affairs, as is the eighth track, "On the Ning Nang Nong", which puts Spike Milligan's classic poem to music.
"The Stonecutters' Song", the ninth track, comes from a classic episode of The Simpsons, and that's followed by a reworking of the theme from children's television show Rainbow. The album rounds out with "The Theme From Julian's Show", a reworking of the theme from It's Garry Shandling's Show, and which was used at the theme for my Social Media Discoveries and Thursday Rock Shows.
I think these songs turned out pretty well, mainly because I learned more about the use of prompts and other things on the Mozart app. I enjoyed reworking them, and I hope you enjoyed listening to them.
