What the **** Has He Done Now?

Do you ever wake up and think “what the fuck has he done now?” That’s the kind of thought I wake up to every few days or so. Why do I feel this way? And who am I thinking about?

It’s been about two months or so since America’s orange saviour Donald J. Trump returned to power, and it’s kind of scary how much he’s done to alienate and anger countries and territories that considered themselves allies.

I don’t think I need to mention how he views Canada or Greenland, do I? Or the Panama Canal. Or renaming the Gulf of Mexico. I don’t think I need to remind you or the tariffs he’s placed on imported goods, or the way he treated a visiting president whose country is under daily bombardment from its overly aggressive neighbour. I definitely don’t need to remind you how his cronies are behaving, especially his buddy, the richest man in the world, a man who is scything through government departments like a hot knife through butter.

Every time I see the news the Donald is doing something that no sane person would even consider, and the scary part is that he has millions of people backing him up.

Have you ever tried to debate a topic with one of his supporters? Have you ever tried to explain how one of their points is either wrong, illogical or both? I tried once, but the person whose post I responded to shot me down in that usual overly aggressive right wing way, shooting me down and telling me that my view didn’t count because I was English, and that I should go away and have a nice cup of tea.

What Trump, and in particularly his supporters, don’t realise is that what he does affects the entire world, and not just their part of it. Their view is so narrow it’s like their suffering from some form of incurable eye disease.

I have to wonder what it’s going to take before those who voted for him finally realise that he and his cronies are doing more harm than good. They probably never will. A few weeks ago I saw a social media post in which the entire MAGA movement was described as a cult, and when you consider everything that’s happened in just a few short weeks that’s probably the best way to describe what’s going on in America right now.

Let’s just hope that this cult doesn’t end up causing irreparable damage to the world.
