Originally intended to be the first story of a long running spin-off series, Stargazer sees Doctor Magus and Thomas Leacock travelling to the planet Rainus. Once a beautiful and peaceful world, they find it in the powerful grip of a con artist, intent on stripping the planet and it's people of it's wealth and riches.
