You Shoot: Jim Cornette - DVD Review

I’ve said this hundreds of times before, but I’m a sucker for old wrestling stories. So you can imagine how I felt when Kayfabe Commentaries’ latest You Shoot DVD featuring Jim Cornette was pushed through my letterbox.
With Sean Oliver posing the questions put forward by the fans, Cornette once again proved that he can talk the hind legs off a donkey, and also be damn entertaining in the process.

Cornette may be viewed as a dinosaur from a bygone age, and some may think that he’s lost his marbles after reading his recent e-mail to Terry Taylor, but the guy really knows his stuff. As always he answers the questions thoughtfully and truthfully, and he isn’t afraid to launch into a verbal tirade against anyone and anything, be they Vince McMahon, Dixie Carter, the Republican Party, or the man who will never make it onto his Christmas card list, Vince Russo.

This two disc set (and I was surprised that this wasn’t an eight or ten disc set) is essential viewing for any old school wrestling fan. It’s tremendous viewing, and it may well be the best Kayfabe Commentaries DVD I’ve reviewed so far. So if you haven’t seen it yet, go out and get yourself a copy.

With thanks to the powers that be at Kayfabe Commentaries for supplying a copy of this release. You Shoot: Jim Cornette is available to buy online at www.kayfabecommentaries.com.
