The
lights went down at Wembley Stadium, and the crowd erupted into cheers and
applause. The support act, The Purple Project, took the stage, ready to kick
off the celebration of Deep Purple's 50th anniversary.
Bruce
Dickinson, the iconic vocalist of Iron Maiden, stepped up to the microphone and
greeted the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's an honor to be here tonight
to support one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Let's get this party
started!"
The
band launched into their first song, "Highway Star", a Deep Purple
classic that got the crowd moving. Dickinson's powerful vocals soared through
the stadium, and the guitar work of Joe Bonamassa and Billy Gibbons was
incendiary.
